[News] KEMEROV 'FMKD' vinyl release shows

Two weeks before the end of 2017 KEMEROV released in vinyl their debut album FMKD, which was already available in digital format since January 2017 (review here).

In order to celebrate their vinyl they also released digitally two covers on Type O Negative and Entombed songs (listen here).

2016: from Greece to Hell

2016 has been a very productive year for the Greek heavy Underground Scene. Through Downtuned Radio we've been promoting all those releases continuously and now the time has arrived to choose some of the best releases and present them to you.

[Live Report] Full Throttle JAM vol.1

Barcode Music along with Full Throttle radio show organized their first “mini festival” a.k.a.  JAM at Kyttaro music stage on January 18^th. We had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Greek underground heavy bands in an attempt for the audience to come closer and the bands to spread their music.

Tell us a few words about the group, when and where did you get started?

How did you meet?

Hello Downtuned! The idea of getting a band together goes back to 2001 when Giorgos and Stavros were studying at the university. In 2005 they met Yiannis at a party and after a few beers more we arranged our first rehearsal, back then known to the world as Horny By Dawn. The name changed to Korsikov in 2006 before our first live show in Farsala. Back then we were a four piece with Mitsos of Released Anger on bass.

[Live Report] Weedeater, Korsikov, Stonenrow @ Athens, 01/05/11

Stonenrow: After 1 hour plus delay, they played Instead of Sadhus. Probably the band didn’t make it and these guys had to be called last minute. Not 100% sure about that but that’s my guess.
I found out about the two guys (guitar/drums) from the “Miss Fortune…” collection.
