Psychedecade ('10s) is a series of compilations dedicated to the decade that passed (2010-2019). Each part contains songs that can either be categorized as psychedelic or have such influences and belong to the wider spectrum of rock music (be it garage, alternative, shoegaze, etc etc).

 

We tried to avoid the heavier part of this scene and focus more on the atmospheric one and also attempted to embed releases by lesser known bands from the global underground scene.

For decades, Sweden has been the country that constantly provided a plethora of bands for a large spectrum of music genres. In the '00s it was the source of dozens of stoner rock bands that left their mark on the scene even if lots of them were not long lived.

On September 9, 2020, the refugee retention center in Moria, Lesvos, was burned to the ground, leaving 13,000 people without shelter. While the procedure of their relocation is currently underway by the Greek state, the shortage of basic goods is desperately great, and the need to act is immediate.

Enter UNITY, a unique, genre-transcending compilation, featuring no less than 160 songs from 160 Greek artists, who wanted to express their direct support and solidarity. The compilation is streaming now on Bandcamp, and can be downloaded for 5€, or with a “pay what you want” option. A variety of quality merch, like t-shirts, pins, stickers, signed prints and bundles is also available, so that you’re able to decide the size of the contribution you can make.

We've chosen 13 tracks from some of our favorite bands mostly in the field of psychedelic and heavy rock and we present it to you hoping that you'll enjoy it as much as we do. Its total duration is about 4,5 hours 😜but we know you'll make it!

The compilation is consisted of 12 tracks from 12 bands that participate to Aza Records' collective and it is available for free downloading.
