Greek Underground 2017 [-part 2-]

2017 was another quite productive year for the heavy underground allover the world and for the Greek Underground scene as well.

In an attempt to write down the releases of the Greek heavy underground that occupied our playlists the most during 2017 we came up with a pretty big list.

[News] KEMEROV 'FMKD' vinyl release shows

Two weeks before the end of 2017 KEMEROV released in vinyl their debut album FMKD, which was already available in digital format since January 2017 (review here).

In order to celebrate their vinyl they also released digitally two covers on Type O Negative and Entombed songs (listen here).

With a new guitarist (Johnny) added in the line-up, KEMEROV are touring Greece to celebrate the vinyl edition of their debut album 'FMKD', (read review here) a year after its release on CD and digital format.

They will be visiting seven towns allover Greece (see schedule on poster or scroll below).

[News] KEMEROV in search of a new Guitarist

 'KEMEROV', the death'n'rollers from Serres have recently announced that they are in search of a new guitarist. 

At the moment, KEMEROV are running a crowdfunding campaign that ends on the first week of August, to raise the necessary funds for a vinyl release for their debut album 'FMKD'.

A few days ago the band announced a crowdfunding campaign through 'indiegogo' in order to raise the required funds to release 'FMKD' on vinyl.

Kemerov are from Serres, Greece.

They are the brainchild of two guys (Matt & Giorgos) that grew up with ‘90s old-school deathmetal and Black Sabbath beliefs, but they could never really choose between the metal sound and the rock 'n' roll feeling.

[Review] Kemerov - FMKD

Kemerov are a fresh mix of punk, death and rock 'n' roll, from Serres, Greece. After lots of work, they released their first full length album entitled "FMKD" (FMKD stands for Feed, Mate, Kill, Die). Previously, in November 2015, they released a four-track EP which leveled up our expectations for their full-length work.
