2017 was another quite productive year for the heavy underground allover the world and for the Greek Underground scene as well.

In an attempt to write down the releases of the Greek heavy underground that occupied our playlists the most during 2017 we came up with a pretty big list.

[Compilation] Recursive Olethros Vol.1 [GR 2017]

'Recursive Olethros' is a compilation of tracks picked from the Greek Underground 2017 releases (January to May).

In particular, Volume 1 is dedicated to the more heavy releases (sludge, post-metal, doom, noise, crust) and it features some of the most important and surely promising bands of the Greek Underground at the moment.

Hailing from the feral wilderness of the Athenian underground, Green Yeti descended to the world of man three years ago, in order to spew out their savage psychedelic riffage.

Green Yeti, the psych-doomsters from Greece announced that new recordings of their upcoming album are finally done!

2016: from Greece to Hell

2016 has been a very productive year for the Greek heavy Underground Scene. Through Downtuned Radio we've been promoting all those releases continuously and now the time has arrived to choose some of the best releases and present them to you.

Και φέτος το Defcon Fest δίνει το παρόν με ένα καυτό τριήμερο στις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου, 1 &2 Οκτωβρίου  στο υπόγειο του An club. Ένα φεστιβάλ το οποίο χρόνο με το χρόνο μεγαλώνει  έχοντας καταφέρει να γίνει ένα σημαντικό συναυλιακό γεγονός για την ελληνική underground σκηνή.

Οι ντόπιοι στα Ιμαλάια μπορεί να καπνίζουν διάφορα και να έχουν παραισθήσεις κατα καιρούς, με τις μαρτυρίες για θεάσεις μαλλιαρών Yeti να είναι μόνιμες από το 1832 και ύστερα. Ομοίως, στα δάση της Βορειοδυτικής Ακτής της αμερικανικής ηπείρου διάφοροι προσπαθούν να μας πείσουν ότι είδαν κάποιο Bigfoot να βολοδέρνει και να ξεριζώνει δέντρα.
