[Review] Cosmic Plunge - Dealing With The Harvester
It's been four years since Cosmic Plunge released their debut "Wanderers on The Face of The Earth" (read review here) and the doomsters from Heraklion, Crete are now back with their sophomore album "Dealing With The Harverster".
If you've never listened to Cosmic Plunge before then get ready for some traditional doom, heavy and slow, full of riffs and with vocals that flirt with heavy metal aesthetics. And maybe you should first give a listen to their debut which is definitely a worthy precursor of this one.

Despite the fact that the Greek "heavy" scene has offered a lot of 'stoner' rock bands the last years, there are only a few bands that walk the extra mile of heaviness and dare to approach the Doom sound (and even fewer that they don’t use the word "Doom" in order to "camouflage" their slightly heavier -but in fact power metal- tunes).

Down Tuned Daze Festival is an event organized by a bunch of Rockers who want have a good time both themselves and the audience of heavy underground music, without having to rely on the local business men-promoters-pimps of Heraklion showing that ” it’s not all about the money or image but it’s about THE MUSIC ”. There will be live appearances by bands of both the local stoner scene as well by special guests from Athens
Down Tuned Daze Festival will take place in the 01 of October 2011 at Vituri's Gate in Heraklion, Crete. The noise will start at 17:00 and the ticket is 5e.
