[News] Purple Dino in search of a vocalist

Due to Kosmas' busy schedule with his work he is unable to keep up with the band's rehearsals and Purple Dino announced that they are currently seeking a new vocalist to take Kosmas' place in the band.

After a bunch changes in the band's line-up and a year after their sophomore release "And Now What?!" (review here) Purple Dino are literally again wondering: "And Now What?!"

[News] Puta Volcano touring Europe w/ Purple Dino, & announce ''Harmony of Spheres'' 2nd vinyl pressing

After releasing their second full length album in April 2017, entitled "Harmony of Spheres", Puta Volcano are ready to tour for the first time outside of their country. Βy their side, Purple Dino, another upcoming hard-rock quartet from Greece, with their newly released album “And Now What?!”.

All this time the band got busy working on new compositions and made a bunch of live appearances inside Greece and in the Balkans.

Purple Dino, just yesterday gave in public the artwork of their upcoming album.

The release is scheduled for 14th December and it's going to be available nn CD and vinyl (as well as in digital format) via Vault Relics.

Την πρώτη εβδομάδα του Μαρτίου και για 4 συνεχόμενες μέρες οι Ξανθιώτες 'Purple Dino', οι 'Fuel Eater' από Πάτρα και οι 'Cellar Dogs' από Αθήνα ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους για μια μίνι περιοδεία εντός συνόρων. Οι δύο τελευταίοι κουβαλάν στα μπαγκάζια τους και τις ολόφρεσκες κυκλοφορίες τους που πραγματοποιήθηκαν μέσα στο χρόνο που μας πέρασε (~ "Centralia", Fuel Eater   |   "Jackhammer", Cellar Dogs ~) ενώ οι Purple Dino βρίσκονται σε τροχιά για τον επόμενο δίσκο τους έχοντας κάνει ντεμπούτο το 2014 με το "Jurassic Bar". Τα ίδια τα συγκροτήματα έχουν ανακοινώσει ότι η σειρά εμφάνισης δε θα είναι ίδια σε κάθε μέρος και δεν είναι προκαθορισμένη.

[Interview] Down with Purple Dino [GR]

Welcome to Downtuned. Tell us a few words about the group, when and where did you get started? How did you meet?

The band was formed in early 2013, and we had our first gig in April of that year, opening for Universe217. We actually know each other for a long time, but we did not realise that we all share the passion for playing music till our first rehearsal! Its funny, I know, but … Better late than never!!

These four guys from Greece share some common “good addictions”. Among others: rock, heavy music, groovy tunes, good alcohol and the “fuzz” are these addictions that brought them together to play the music they love.
