Four years after their debut "Represent Victory Below Eye" Puta Volcano are back with their second full album "The Sun" and it totally worth the wait!
With a constantly heavy rock, and grungy attitude but always keeping an open mind and the mood for experimentation, Puta Volcano delivered an explosive album which I suspect is going to satisfy a great variety of audience, mostly because of their alternative touch and their powerful performance.
And that is also the reason that I am so eager to listen to the band performing this album live, and I'm totally convinced it will be a great and groovy experience which I wish I will soon have the opportunity to live.

"The Sun" is the second LP from Puta Volcano, the rock band from Athens, Greece. They call their music volcanic rock, due mostly to the nature of the procedure they follow making it, and not necessarilly to the music itself. Their songs, their energy and their impulsiveness erupts out of them like lava from a volcano. But their powerful psychedelic sound also feels like it's coming from some volcanic desert in the middle of nowhere.
Luna's vigorous voice, Alex's shuddering guitar, Alex's imposing bass and Steve's "louder than bombs" drums will make you wanna leave for a road trip to California's Death Valley, with just this LP playing on the radio
