In their second discographical effort, …And It’s Already Tomorrow, THE ANSWER?, veterans of Greece’s rock scene, attempted to broaden their horizons and give us a particularly satisfying album which seems to be stuck in a kind of melacholic and nostalgic punk rock mood, embedding at the same time several contemporary pop elements and paying tribute to the indy scene of the '90s.
bio & info:Nineteen years after their first release, B-Otherside Records supported by Aza Records Collective, proudly present the new album of "The Answer?" titled "...And It's Already Tomorrow" which includes 11 tracks that contain elements of melodic punk, the alternative-indie sound of the '90's and "a spark" of today's pop punk.THE ANSWER? is now counting 25 years in the independent Greek scene. Their story begins in 1995, when two members of the band called "Middle Fingers" decided to create a new style.
THE ANSWER? was formed back in 1995 when Lefteris -drums- the founding member of the 'Middle Fingers' (Lazy Dog Records) and Kostas -bass- (also member of Middle Fingers from that day on) were found to stay permanently in Alexandroupolis, Greece and decided to form another band.
In early 1996, Kostas takes over the electric guitar & vocals, Lefteris holds his position on drums while they also recruit their friend Alekos on bass (member of various bands in the city), perfecting a dynamic trio called ”THE ANSWER?“. After many rehearsals, booze, love and several tapes that they self recorded at home they managed to perform live along with popular bands of the time, such as Lefki Symphonia, Tsopana Rave, Goulag and the legendary band Dead Moon (USA) on their last tour.As the time passed, a new guitarist (Elias) joined the band, and contributing in the release of their first D.I.Y distributed self-titled album in late 1999.In 2007, the band decided to take a break. After seven years of musical quests, the dynamic trio comes back, adding now Yiannis as their new guitarist and combining their musical experience in order to continue their journey. The band is active again, keeping the flame alive and having, among other gigs, some extraordinary appearances supporting bands such as Battleme (USA), Mr Highway Band, Naxatras, Lefki Symphonia, Hat Trick, Bad Movies, Vodka Juniors (et al). They are also participating in the Aza Records collective, where they also contributed a song to the compilation “A Call to Instruments vol.3”. The album "...And it's Already Tomorrow" was released on January 2019 in vinyl format.
