[Videotheque] Hammada - Mana (studio session)

Ham₥a̱da performing the song Mana (Monument EP, 2019)  live at The Eden Studios in Dresden.

Hammada was founded in June 2012 by Christian Döring. In November 2012, Sönke Tautorus joined as a drummer. Kristian Schulze took over the vocals in March 2013. Lenz Fiedler completed the band in November 2013 on bass. After numerous rehearsals the band played their first gig in February 2014.
Since then, they've played over 50 concerts in Saxony. The sound of Hammada can best be described as Desert Rock with a strong psychedelic impact. Characteristic of their songs are numerous rhythm changes, a well-balanced mixture of atmospheric melodies and harder soundscapes as well as powerful vocals.
The two releases "Sfaira" and the purely digitally distributed "Monument EP" from 2017 brought the band national as well as international attention. The band is currently working on the debut album.
