4 February : Rotor, Omega Massif, Black Shape Of Nexus Live In Athens

Who:
Experimental doom / droners Black Shape Of Nexus (B.SON), the band who overreached the limits of downtuned, slow, thick sound will also present tracks from their upcoming new work exclusively for the Greek audience! The down tempo / ambient passages of synths, the unbearable riffs, the sound wall they create and  the low vocal frequencies of their possessed frontman Malte is the secret of the German sextet.

Omega Massif, known for their heavy post metal sound, are coming with a brand new album. After Kalt and Geisterstadt, the new work entitled Karpatia, which was nominated as album of the month at Roadburn.com, finds the band heavier than ever. With complete flexibility between the style of bands like Pelican and Isis they create and maintain a personal recognizable style and sound that makes them companions and not followers of Sound. The Bavarian quartet proves that through the post metal saturation, there are bands which effortlessly create inspirational wandering soundscapes.

Rotor, three German virtuosos expand the boundaries of psychedelic heavy rock since 1998. Their sound described as a fusion of relentless instrumental stoner with references to kraut, prog and jazz idioms puts the listener in the eye of a hurricane. It is not surprising that their records bear the stamp of Elektrohash records. Established as one of the hottest names in independent festivals of the heavy sound like  Duna Jam and Yellowstock, will verify their reputation as one of the most multi-dimensional shapes of the scene.
