1000mods created a video for their song "Warped" and they've just uploaded it on their official youtube channel and we very are happy to premiere it for you.
"Warped" is included in their latest album "Youth of Dissent" (released April 24, 2020)
Band statement about the video clip:
“Warped” is the third official video of 1000mods, which is included in their latest album “Youth of Dissent”, released on April 24th. A year after completing the record production, this video release signifies a special “anniversary” of creative isolation in a dystopian environment, where only music seems capable of saving the world!
We would like to remind you that the album was produced by legend Matt Bayles, known for working with Isis, Mastodon, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Botch and many more, and recorded at Litho Studio (owned by Stone Gossard, founding member of Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog, Mother Love Bone and Green River) and London Bridge Studio (where Pearl Jam’s “Ten” was recorded, as well as a great part of Alice in Chains’ discography and the legendary debut of Soundgarden, among many others).
The directors Tassos Gkoletsos and Giorgos Argyropoulos, spending a lot of time at 1000mods’ studio, which is the lead star of the video clip, state: “The isolation within the 4 walls of the studio, for the creation of their latest album, was followed by the lockdown, travel restrictions and concert banning by law. Along with 1000mods, we tried to depict this odd sense they had inside their heads, living in a distorted reality, reflecting the band’s 12-month experiences. It was the psychograph of a year, put in a clip!”
With common references to the '90s (filmed on a mini DV camera in multi forma), the insanity of the horror movies with social implications and the unprecedented conditions of the confinement, “Warped” comes at the right moment for us to turn up the volume of our speakers.
