[News] Instant Boner new single. Album coming soon

 

Instant Boner from Greece announced they will be releasing their first full length album 'High Place Phenomenon' on 25th September 2020 and have already given in public the single "Inside Your Head" which you can listen below.

The band has also given us some info about the album:

1. High Place Phenomenon is going to be a 6 track full length album! Mostly we have written long songs because we simply couldn't stop jamming
2. This is definitely the most versatile material we have done, before we take Marianthi on vocal duties we had a whole album ready, we basically threw it away and started from scratch!! The result is a very versatile album that was written while jamming, we also re-recorded and basically re-written an older song of ours (Perfect Sunday).
This is something we had in mind for a long time! After closing almost all of our gigs jamming this song it became something completely different... The most beautiful thing is that it's re-arrangement, re-writing and re-imagining happened live! So, it's basically a different song and 10 minutes longer than the original!!
3. The rcording process was a hybrid between live and multitrack recording!! All songs are "jam based" but we also wanted the flexibility to work on experimental sounds so everyone recorded guessing what everyone else would do and figured it out along the way!! Not easy for our audio engineer @paris_mixing but definitely fun!!
4. This record contains the most easy and at the same time the most complex lyrics we had so far.We have even changed the lyrics on the renewed "perfect sunday". There is a "tone" on the whole record and we explore a lot of what we have experienced the past 3 years...
5. The "High Place Phenomenon", also known as "The Call of the Void" is a sudden, strong, but usually very quickly dismissed, urge to do something incredibly stupid/impulsive/rebellious, usually associated with jumping off a high place......
6. The artwork is a creation by Bewild Brother.
