That's one of the most interesting things I came across for quite a long time now. I was having my usual "walk" in various webzines when I stumbled upon a post by Alarm magazine about Deveykus; where they featured also an exclusive streaming of a track by the band's upcoming debut album "Pillar Without Mercy". First of all, Deveykus is a new project fronted by trombonist Dan Blacksberg (see also Electric Simcha). Their music is an interpretation of Hasidic spiritual melodies mixed with doom heaviness, leading to an incredible result of absolute awesomeness. "Pillar Without Mercy" will be released in a couple of months by Tzadik Records.
