One year after their impressive debut album, 1000mods released a new 12" EP to keep us busy. "Valley Of The Sand" includes one new track, the 17min same-titled one which is quite different from what they delivered us with "Super Van Vacation". It's a slowly-built, laid-back jam with a great heavier finishing touch. EP's second side features three live versions of "Flies", "Navy In Alice" and "Track Me" coming originally from their debut album where you can have a little taste how the band performs live... Although I'm a big fan of the guys, I'd like to be included another "new-old" track like a b-side or something. "Valley Of Sand" is released in 500 white vinyls so if you're into it, go over their bandcamp and show some love.
